Ocean Online Casino

What Is Ocean Online Casino?

Any Ocean Online Casino review has to start with the basics: it is independently owned and only operates in New Jersey, unlike many casinos that are part of larger multi-state groups. Ocean Online Casino uses the name betOcean and is directly connected to the Atlantic City property.

Who Owns Ocean Casino

Ocean Online Casino is owned and operated by AC Ocean Walk, LLC, trading as Ocean Casino Resort.

betOcean and Ocean Casino Resort: One Brand, Two Products

The land-based resort opened on the former Revel site in June 2018, and the online casino followed in July 2018. Both operate under the same New Jersey license, tied to the same Atlantic City property.

Ocean Online Casino Welcome Bonus

At Ocean Online Casino, you must clear the welcome bonus within 48 hours of your qualifying deposit. Most other New Jersey casinos give you 7 to 30 days.

100% Match Up to $1,000

A qualifying first deposit of $25 or more, made within 30 days of registration, gets matched 100% up to $1,000. The match applies to slots only, at 25x playthrough on the bonus amount.

The 48-Hour Clearing Window

You must finish the 25x playthrough within 48 hours or lose the bonus and any winnings. There is no no-deposit bonus.

Which Slots Do Not Count

Ten games do not count toward the playthrough: Apollo Pays, Arthur Pendragon, Monopoly Megaways, Quick Hit Ultra Pays Eagle's Peak, Scarab, Shields of Rome, Starmania, White Rabbit Megaways, Wild Play Super Bet, and Wolves. Table games, video poker, and live dealer games also do not count.

Full bonus terms are on the Ocean bonus page.

The deposit match structure is broken down on its own deposit match page.

Is Ocean Online Casino Licensed and Safe?

Ocean Online Casino carries an active New Jersey gaming license.

Who Holds the Permit

The internet gaming permit is held by AC Ocean Walk, LLC, trading as Ocean Casino Resort, under Atlantic City casino license 1320. Most competitors operate as a skin on another license; Ocean holds its own permit through its property and hosts other online brands on it.

How to Verify It Yourself

Every claim here can be checked directly on the DGE's own register. An Ocean Online Casino NJ review that skips this step isn't giving readers a way to confirm it.
