PredictIt review
Our full tested review
There’s no PredictIt promo code to unlock a welcome bonus. The company doesn't offer a sign-up bonus. As of September 23, 2026, its fee structure changed too, as withdrawal fees are entirely gone, ACH deposits are free, and your first credit card deposit is free up to $1,000.
There’s no PredictIt promo code to unlock a welcome bonus. The company doesn’t offer a sign-up bonus. As of September 23, 2026, its fee structure changed too, as withdrawal fees are entirely gone, ACH deposits are free, and your first credit card deposit is free up to $1,000.
The only fee left standing is 10% of net profit on a winning position, unchanged. One number worth knowing regardless: $3,500 is the most you can hold in any single contract. The cost model still only affects traders who win.
If you are still looking for the PredictIt promo code, you won’t find it. The company publishes no promo code.
A not-for-profit research consortium runs PredictIt, operating under a CFTC no-action letter rather than as a commercial exchange. Any site claiming to offer one isn’t acting on PredictIt’s behalf.
No, neither exists. What truly matters here is the fee model, and that changed recently.

What about PredictIt fees? This is the part to watch if you’ve used this site before. Effective immediately, as of September 23, 2026, PredictIt removed its 5% withdrawal fee. ACH deposits are now free too.
On top of that, your very first credit card deposit is free, up to $1,000. After that first free one, card deposits settle at 3%, which PredictIt describes on its own site as “passed through at cost,” meaning it’s a processing charge, not a markup PredictIt is pocketing. The one fee that hasn’t moved: 10% of your net profit, taken only when a winning position closes.
This is still the tightest ceiling in the whole US prediction market space.
The original CFTC no-action letter capped each trader at $850 per contract and each market at 5,000 total traders. A July 2025 amendment removed the trader cap and raised the single-contract limit to $3,500.
Here’s the arithmetic, now quite simpler than it used to be. Buy a contract at 50 cents. It settles at $1.00. Overall, that’s 50 cents of gross profit.
PredictIt takes 10% of that, 5 cents, leaving you 45 cents net. Since September 23, no second deduction on the way out. Withdraw by ACH or check, and the full 45 cents reaches you.
| Step | Amount |
|---|---|
| Buy 1 contract at | 50¢ |
| Contract settles at | $1.00 |
| Gross profit | 50¢ |
| Less 10% profit fee | 5¢ |
| Net to withdraw | 45¢ |
| Withdrawal fee | None |
ACH bank transfers are free. Your first credit card deposit is free too, up to $1,000, with a 3% pass-through charge on any card deposit after that.
There’s still no crypto or stablecoin option here, unlike Kalshi or Polymarket. Withdrawals go out by ACH or check, and neither carries a fee anymore.

Take a look at PredictIt’s live markets page, and you’ll find 195 active contracts. They’re sorted into 6 categories: Elections, President, Congress, State/Local, World, and Weekly.
Take Senate control after 2026, for instance. Democrats are sitting at 65 cents right now, Republicans at 38. There’s also a market that breaks the House and Senate down into specific seat ranges; one option’s currently priced at 36 cents. And over in Los Angeles, the mayoral race has its own contract too, with Karen Bass at 41 cents and Nithya Raman up at 60.
Each market card also shows trading volume. Some have hundreds of thousands of shares changing hands. Heavier volume often means steadier pricing, while thin markets can swing hard on just a few trades.
PredictIt runs under something called CFTC staff no-action relief. That’s not the same as being a designated contract market, which is what Kalshi actually has.
The whole thing traces back to a 2014 letter, Letter 14-130, issued October 29 that year. It was updated more recently, with Letter 25-20, which also raised the contract cap and eliminated the old trader limit.
So, who can open the account here?
Eligible users across the United States can access PredictIt under this system.
No. PredictIt publishes no promo code. It's run by a not-for-profit research consortium under a CFTC no-action letter, not as a commercial exchange. That said, it does not offer any promo credit. Any site offering a PredictIt code isn't acting on the platform's behalf.
No. PredictIt has no sign-up bonus, deposit match, or referral program. What matters here is the fee model: 10% of net profit on a winning position. Withdrawal fees were eliminated entirely as of September 23, 2026, so that's no longer part of the cost either.
PredictIt charges no per-trade transaction fee and no withdrawal fee, following a September 2026 update. It takes 10% of your net profit when a winning position closes. That's the only cost traders pay now, and it applies only to winners.
No, not anymore. PredictIt eliminated its 5% withdrawal fee effective September 23, 2026, as part of a broader pricing update. Withdrawals by ACH or check are now free, so the only remaining cost is the 10% profit fee taken when a winning position closes.
$3,500. The original CFTC no-action letter capped each trader at $850 per contract and each market at 5,000 traders. A July 2025 amendment removed the trader cap and raised the single-contract limit to $3,500, still the tightest ceiling of any US prediction market.
Not in the way that phrase usually implies. PredictIt operates under CFTC staff no-action relief rather than as a registered designated contract market, so it holds no CFTC license or designation in any legal states. Authority traces to Letter 14-130 from 2014, amended in July 2025.
You can fund your account by ACH bank transfer, which is free, or by credit card. Your first card deposit is free too, up to $1,000. After that, card deposits cost 3%, passed through at cost. There's still no crypto or stablecoin option here. The platform runs in a browser on both desktop and mobile.
We re-check bonus terms every week. If the wagering, the cap or the eligible states change, you’ll hear from us first.
