Privacy Policy

BettingVerdict's Privacy Policy.

This page explains what BettingVerdict collects when you use the site, and what we do with it. This applies to everyone who visits BettingVerdict.

BettingVerdict doesn’t take deposits, run games, or hold player funds. To make a privacy request, use our contact page.

What We Collect

BettingVerdict collects three types of information.

  • From you: Anything you send us, such as through a newsletter signup, tester form, or a contact form.
  • Automatically when you visit the website: The pages you view, your device and browser, approximate location obtained from your IP address, and the site from which you reached us.
  • Cookies: Small files saved on your device. These include tracking cookies set when you click through to an operator.

This website is intended for adults only. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. The rules for using BettingVerdict are set under the terms.

How We Use It

We use your information to run and improve the site, answer your messages, and send the newsletter to readers who have asked for it. It’s also used to track referrals for operators, so we’re credited for them.

How this works commercially is explained on the affiliate disclosure page. We don’t use your information to make decisions about you and we don’t profile our readers.

Who We Share It With

BettingVerdict doesn’t sell your personal information. We share it with service providers that host the website, send email, and measure traffic. We also share it with operators you click through to, and with anyone the law requires us to disclose it to.

Testers who complete our testing program are named on the review they helped with if they agree. Payment details are handled separately, and are not published.

Operators have their own privacy policies. Our responsible gambling page explains how you can stay in control when you use an operator.

Your Choices

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold or ask us to correct it or delete it. You can opt out of the newsletter at any time and of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

Depending on your location, US state privacy laws may provide more rights. No need to work out which apply. Send a request through our contact page, and we’ll handle it.

You can control the cookies from our website in your browser settings.
