The Mohegan Sun Welcome Bonus
500 Bonus Spins
The 500 spins don’t land all at once. They’re credited in batches of 50 per day across your first 10 days, starting right away.
They’re only valid on the Huff N’ Puff slot family:
- Huff N’ Puff High Rise,
- Huff N’ Puff Money Man$ion,
- Huff N’ Even More Puff,
- Huff N’ More Puff,
- Huff N’ Lots of Puff,
- Huff N’ Lots of Goals, and
- Huff N’ Even More Puff Grand.
Use them fast because they expire 7 days after you receive each batch.
Up to $1,000 Back on Day One
This is the lossback piece, confirmed directly through Mohegan’s own app listing and site.
Any net loss on eligible games during your first 24 hours gets refunded, up to $1,000. It comes back as casino bonus site credit, though.

The Offer in New Jersey and Pennsylvania
Both New Jersey and Pennsylvania run their own 100% first-deposit match. Also, neither requires a code.
Always check the current match cap on the official website before relying on this figure.
Do You Need a Mohegan Sun Promo Code?
No Promo Code Required
Searching for a Mohegan Sun online casino promo code won’t turn one up.
You don’t need a code in Connecticut, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania. The offer applies as soon as you make a qualifying deposit.
How to Claim It, Step by Step
- Download the app or open the site from inside Connecticut, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.
- Register or sign in with your existing FanDuel account in Connecticut, since that casino runs on FanDuel’s platform.
- Complete identity verification. Both Connecticut and New Jersey require full KYC.
- Deposit $10 or more. You don’t enter a code anywhere in this process.
- Place your first real-money wager. In Connecticut, this starts your 24-hour lossback window.
- Your bonus spins begin arriving on schedule over the following days.
- Clear each component’s requirement. Both the spins winnings and the lossback credit clear at the same 1x playthrough.
Deposit Methods That Qualify
We found that deposit methods include:
- PayPal,
- Play+,
- online banking and ACH, and
- Visa and Mastercard debit.
In New Jersey, you can also handle deposits and withdrawals in person at the Resorts Casino Hotel cage in Atlantic City. You need to be physically inside the state before any wager is accepted.
Free Slot Play, Momentum and Status Points
Is There a No-Deposit Bonus?
What about the no-deposit offer here? This casino does not provide any.
What’s more, a $10 qualifying deposit is required everywhere.
Free Slot Play Codes Explained
Have you seen a Mohegan Sun free $50 slot play code floating around? That’s a Momentum offer, not something tied to the welcome bonus.
Free slot play isn’t online casino credit. It’s a Momentum member benefit tied to the physical Mohegan Sun property. Always check those terms rather than assuming they match the welcome bonus.
Momentum Dollars and Status Points
The Mohegan Sun status points formula is simple once you know it! Eligible wagers convert to points at a set rate, but only after your accounts are linked.
Momentum is the loyalty currency for Connecticut and Pennsylvania players. You can redeem it in person at Mohegan Sun for dining, hotel stays, spa visits, and entertainment. New Jersey runs a separate program instead, called Stellar Rewards.
Connecting Your Momentum Account
This is the detail that we care about most. Your online casino account has to be linked to your Momentum account before online play earns anything.
Play that happens before you connect the two doesn’t retroactively count. So make sure to link them first, and then play.
| What It Is | Where It’s Earned | Where It’s Spent |
|---|---|---|
| Online casino bonus | Welcome offer or a promotion | Online, once the wagering requirement is met |
| Free slot play | Momentum tier activity, mailed or emailed offers | Usually at the property, per that offer’s terms |
| Momentum Dollars & Status Points | Eligible play, including online play once accounts are linked | In person at Mohegan Sun, for dining, hotel, spa, entertainment |
| Stellar Rewards | New Jersey online play | Cash, comps, room nights, event tickets |
| Mohegan Sun Beyond | Free-to-play only, no real-money wagering | Experience Points and Loyalty Coins; Loyalty Coins convert to Momentum Dollars, not cash |
Why Free Slot Play Searches Land Here
- A lot of people search for free slot play codes expecting an online no-deposit bonus. That’s not what this is.
- Free slot play comes through Momentum, tied to tier activity, and not online casino credit.
- The most important step: link your online account to Momentum before you play.
- Mohegan Sun Beyond is a separate, free-to-play social product available in all 3 states.
Is Mohegan Sun Casino Licensed and Safe?
Mohegan Holds It, FanDuel Runs It
In Connecticut, the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority holds the master wagering license, and FanDuel Group operates the casino on its own platform. That’s the whole reason the app takes FanDuel credentials.
Mohegan and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation hold the state’s only 2 casino master wagering licenses. This is why Connecticut has exactly 2 online casinos.
The License in Each State
New Jersey runs under the Resorts Casino Hotel license. And this is also why New Jersey deposits and withdrawals can be handled at the Atlantic City cage.
Pennsylvania runs on a different license, however. Mohegan Digital took it over from Unibet in April 2024, tied to Mohegan Pennsylvania’s Wilkes-Barre property.
How Fast You Get Paid
Payouts typically land within 24 to 72 hours depending on the method. E-wallets are usually fastest, while bank transfers are slower.

Frequently asked questions
Do you need a Mohegan Sun promo code?
No. The welcome offer applies automatically to a qualifying first deposit of $10 or more, no code needed, in Connecticut, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania. In Connecticut, you can sign in with existing FanDuel credentials, since that casino runs on the FanDuel platform.
What is the Mohegan Sun welcome bonus?
New Connecticut players get 500 bonus spins, up to $1,000 back in casino bonus on any first-day net loss, and up to 500 Momentum Dollars for linking their account, all on a $10-or-more deposit. New Jersey and Pennsylvania each run their own first-deposit match instead, also code-free; check each state's own site for the current match ceiling.
Is there a Mohegan Sun no-deposit bonus or free slot play code?
No no-deposit bonus exists, and a $10 qualifying deposit is required to claim anything. Free slot play is a Momentum member benefit tied to the Mohegan Sun property, not online casino credit, so the value, the expiry and the eligible machines are set by that individual offer rather than the welcome bonus.
How do the 500 bonus spins arrive?
Not all at once. They arrive in batches of 50 per day across your first 10 days, valid only on the Huff N' Puff slot family, and each batch expires 7 days after it lands. Log in daily during that window, because unused spins from an expired batch are gone.
How do Momentum status points work with online play?
Eligible online play earns Momentum Dollars and Status Points, but only once your online account is linked to your Momentum account. Connect them before you play, because anything recorded beforehand does not backdate and earns nothing at all. Points are redeemed in person at Mohegan Sun rather than online.
Is there a Mohegan Sun bonus code for existing players?
Mohegan Sun runs ongoing promotions for returning players, and a code is not normally needed for any of them. The steadier value comes from the loyalty programs: Momentum in Connecticut and Pennsylvania, and Stellar Rewards in New Jersey. Both earn on eligible online play once your accounts are connected.
Is Mohegan Sun Casino the same as FanDuel?
No. They're separate brands sharing one platform in Connecticut. The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority holds the license; FanDuel Group operates the casino, which is why the app accepts FanDuel credentials. Accounts and offers stay separate, though the cashier and payout timing are shared.
Get an email if Mohegan Sun changes these terms.
We re-check bonus terms every week. If the wagering, the cap or the eligible states change, you’ll hear from us first.
