• Slingo, Bingo, Keno, basic games, etc, are visible for New Jersey

• Instant Play+ withdrawals
• Live dealer games also count toward the welcome playthrough

Cons:

• It is for New Jersey and Pennsylvania only
• You won’t find an integrated sportsbook
• 25x on slots, 50x on table games, just seven days to clear it
• So many games are lacking in the Pennsylvania lobby
• App library runs kind of smaller than on desktop
• No published game count or provider list

The Tropicana Welcome Bonus

You can find a 100% first deposit match here. In New Jersey, that's up to $200 with promo code TROPTEN. Whereas in Pennsylvania, it's up to $250.

Wagering requirements are 25x on slots and 50x on everything else. What’s more, you have 7 days to clear it. There's also no no-deposit bonus here, and full terms are visible on our Tropicana bonus page.

Who Runs Tropicana and Is It Licensed?

Who Operates Tropicana

All searches do lead to the same answer.  The company is run by Caesars Interactive Entertainment New Jersey, LLC. And it’s part of Caesars Entertainment.

The New Jersey Permit

New Jersey runs on NJIGP 25-012, held by Tropicana Atlantic City Corp. That's one of 3 New Jersey internet gaming permits inside the Caesars group, alongside NJIGP 25-007 and NJIGP 25-013.

Ultimately, Pennsylvania runs on a Caesars-Group interactive gaming certificate through Harrah's Philadelphia.

Closed in 2022; relaunched by Caesars

The site launched in 2013, right at the start of the New Jersey market, under Tropicana Entertainment.

Afterward, it closed on June 13, 2022, when the Bally's partnership ended. Caesars relaunched it in April 2023, and the product reached full operation by 2024. So, if you had an account back then, you will need to reopen it now.

Where You Can Play Tropicana

New Jersey

If you're playing at Tropicana NJ online, you get the fuller lobby: Slingo, Bingo, Keno, scratch cards, and virtual sports, on top of everything else.

Pennsylvania

Tropicana PA casino players get a more standard lobby, without those variety games.

The welcome offer differs too, $250 here against $200 in New Jersey.

What Is Different Between the Two

You need to be physically inside New Jersey or Pennsylvania to wager. This is simply because everything is verified by geolocation.

It's only about where you are right now. You don’t want to assume a game you found in one state's lobby is available in the other.

Games, Providers and RTP

How Many Games Tropicana Has

These guys do not publish an official total. Yet, independent counts put it over 1,500 titles.

Here's the data that does matter here: its slot library is bigger than sister site Caesars Palace Online. These both run on the same content platform.

Slingo, Bingo, Keno, and Virtual Sports

This is the real reason to pick Tropicana over Caesars Palace Online. Slingo, Bingo, Keno, cards, and virtual sports are unusual in the US market.

Just remember, that's a New Jersey thing only.

Live Dealer

Live dealer tables run on the shared Caesars content platform.

Interestingly, it’s the same one behind Caesars Palace Online and Horseshoe.

What Tropicana Publishes About RTP

No US-regulated operator publishes a portfolio-wide average RTP.

Tropicana is no exception. That number simply doesn't exist here, so we're not going to invent one.

Deposits, Withdrawals and Payout Speed

Deposit Methods

Here are the deposit options available at Tropicana Casino:

• Caesars Prepaid Play+,
• PayPal,
• online banking and ACH,
• eCheck,
• Visa and Mastercard debit,
• PayNearMe, and
• cash at a Caesars-group casino cage.

How Long Withdrawals Take

Play+ withdrawals are often instant. And PayPal commonly clears within hours to one business day.

ACH and eCheck take 1 to 5 business days, depending on your state and account history. Your first withdrawal may get delayed for document review, and that's normal.

Cash at Caesars Cage

You can collect cash at any Caesars-group property cage; this includes Tropicana Atlantic City itself.

That's a wider physical network than a single-property brand could ever offer. Yet, interestingly, this is the shared Caesars cashier. Because of that, timings here match Caesars Palace Online rather than being unique to Tropicana.

The App, Support and Caesars Rewards

The Tropicana App

One thing to know before downloading: the app's library runs slightly smaller than desktop.

It's not identical, so don't expect every desktop title to show up.

Support by Phone, Chat, and Email

Tropicana publishes a customer service phone line, along with live chat and email. BetMGM, BetRivers, FanDuel, and DraftKings don't offer that.

If you'd rather talk to a person than type into a chat box, this is a good point in Tropicana's favor.

Caesars Rewards: 1,000 Points to $10

Online play earns the same Tier Credits and Reward Credits as playing at a physical Caesars property. Online Reward Credits convert to cash at 1,000 points for $10.

This program stretches across Caesars Palace Online, Caesars Sportsbook, WSOP, and every land-based Caesars property. Notably, it is one of the widest reward networks any online casino account can offer.

Responsible Gambling Tools at Tropicana

The casino offers the following responsible gambling tools:

• deposit limits,
• wager limits,
• loss limits,
• time limits,
• session reminders,
• cool-off and time-out options,
• self-exclusion, and
• each state's self-exclusion register.

Note that the published phone number is also useful here. If gambling ever starts feeling like a problem, please call 1-800-GAMBLER. It covers both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
